Registration fee

The registration to the Conference is mandatory to be able to attend the Sessions and to have a Paper included at the GA proceedings. Please follow the instructions herein described.

To register for the General Assembly, you need to be a CIRP Member (including Corporate Member) or a CIRP Research Affiliate. CIRP Members can invite one guest, but first need to complete the Request Form for a Guest’. Guests cannot register online without being first invited and confirmed by the CIRP Office in Paris.

As registration is only open to CIRP Members (including Corporate Members), CIRP Research Affiliates and approved guests, your registration will be checked and validated. You will be contacted should you not be eligible.

Since this year the CIRP general assembly has a hybrid format, you can choose to attend in person in Bilbao or online from anywhere in the world. Additionally, you have the choice between Part I or Part I+II.

Based on the Spanish Value Added Tax System Directive, BOE 37/1992 updated recently for those specific type of events, Articles 69-70, the Telecommunications regulation applies to the online participation of a B2B (business to business) service for those located outside Spain. According to this regulation the VAT will be applied to the Spanish business and when the VAT corresponds to a physical person.

Invoices

Once the Secretariat has received the booking of the services and checked the payment has been correctly made,the corresponding registration invoice will be issued by email (hotels will issue and handle their own invoices for lodging).

Those attendees having any disability or special dietary requirements, should state it in the 'Special needs' section in the Registration form of your Private Area.

Additional information

Substitutions

Substitutions of delegates will be permitted until 31st July 2021 and all name changes must be communicated by email to info@cirp2022.org. All substitutions of delegates will have to be approved by the CIRP Office in Paris.

Cancellation policy

If cancelled up to 31st May 2022, the registration fee will be refunded excluding 5 % cancellations fee.
No refunds will be given for cancellations from 01 June 2022 and onwards.
Cancellation requests must be communicated to info@cirp2022.org
All cancellation refunds will be paid after the conference.

Social events

Free cancellation until 10 June 2022. No refund can be made for cancellations received after 10 June 2022.

Hotels

Free cancellation until 31 May 2022.

Changes

Changing from an in-person registration to an online registration will be permitted until the 10th of June and the difference will be refunded excluding the 5% handling fee. During the same period changing from an online registration to a face to face registration will be permitted and the cost difference will be charged. Later changes are allowed until the 27th of July and are subjected to a 100€ handling fee.
If, due to force majeure, the congress cannot be held face to face and must be carried out completely online, all face-to-face registrations will be converted to online ones and the difference will be refunded.

Liability

The Organising Committees and/or Conference Organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Conference. Delegates should make their own arrangements with regard to personal insurance.
